WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC PMO CONSULTANT TO WORK IN A PRIVATE EQUITY BACKED ENVIROMENT THAT HAS AN IMMATURE PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT LANDSCAPE.
Head quartered in London, our client is one of the leading companies in its field across Europe.

The business is running several projects within its Finance, IT and Treasury functions which are due to be delivered at the end of 2023.

These projects require programme management oversight to ensure the effective delivery in support of the business' transformation objectives.


There are several teams running projects in parallel and with project implementation status' varying between countries, there is increasing competition for resources as projects progress at pace.

A PMO is therefore required to ensure conflicts, interdependencies and risks are appropriately identified, communicated, and managed to ensure CFO objectives are delivered.

This is a standalone role.


You will be responsible for:
Stakeholder Management and Reporting

  • Coordinating projects originating from or depending on CFO teams, and ensuring appropriate information is provided to stakeholders (CFO and direct reports) to understand project status and support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Providing consistent and highquality reporting to CFO office on progress of portfolio of projects, budget, resource conflicts and prioritisation decisions, and risk management; and
  • Building and maintaining relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders in the UK and across Europe to identify and manage resource conflicts, project interdependencies and timelines.
Project Governance

  • Provide close guidance to project leads on project management best practice across the project lifecycle including project governance, and processes methods and tools for project management.
  • Deliver coaching to Project Leads in developing clear project rationale and business case, project planning (i.e. stage gates), risk / benefit consideration, resource management, communications strategy, and training requirements and plan
