If you know your Twitter from your Insta Stories this is the chance for you to join an award-winning social team at Reach Nationals as our
Senior Social Video Editor. You will get to work across our iconic national titles which includes the
Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star and OK Magazine.

You will create, source and get permissions for social video content to be used across our national titles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other social platforms.

You will play a key role in accelerating the revenue from our social media video content and identifying opportunities for growth.

We're looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

Key Responsibilities

What will the role involve?

Taking ownership of our social video content for our national titles, Daily Mirror, Daily Star, Daily Express and OK Magazine
Supporting the acceleration of our social video views across these brands
Analysing and reporting on social video trends and performance, identifying areas for growth
Overseeing and producing live social video content as well as native video edits
Ensuring consistency of posting across all brands platforms
Covering exciting live events and breaking news across social platforms
Commissioning video and filming content when necessary
Supporting Social Video Producers and working closely with the Head of Social to ensure content aligns with Reach's social media strategy

This position will have some weekend working so a flexible approach is required

Who are we looking for?

Excellent video editing knowledge and experience
The ability to source interesting video content and turn it around for different brands at speed
Strong knowledge of Facebook Creator Studio, Twitter Studio, Youtube, Instagram and TikTok
A supportive people person who can build relationships with Editors, columnists and celebrities alike
Solid understanding of video permissions regulations and social media laws
