The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen whereby we are now looking for a highly motivated, suitably qualified Head of Recruitment. The Head of Recruitment is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process. It is a key role and an exciting opportunity to meet and build relationships with all our prospective families; and to support and guide them through the admissions process.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Managing the recruitment process from initial enquiry to the Student/Player joining DRGN Academy.
This includes maintaining relevant records and data; correspondence regarding enquiries, hold zoom/teams meetings with students, meeting prospective parents/players; and advising Head of Recruitment and Admissions, Head of Education and Head of Welfare and other senior staff on admissions matters.
Recruitment Strategy
- Frequent and personal contact with all enquiries/ families and students
- Build and maintain excellent relationships
- Effective customer care during the recruitment process.
- Ensure that prospective parents and pupils immediately feel a part of the DRGN community by being updated continually throughout the enrolment process.
Recruitment Tasks
- Drive recruitment from existing and new as appropriate.
- Proactive approach to enquiry management, follow up and ensure high conversion rate.
- Excellent understanding of the Academy course offer.
- Wider knowledge of the Academy and Student/Player opportunities.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with current educational partners communicating, liaising, reviewing processes regularly.
- Be prepared to travel if required.
- Attend all Admissions/Career events.
- Ensure all new parent and Student/Player's enrolment forms are kept up to date in liaison with relevant staff.
- Working with The Head of Education to ensure students meet entry requirements.
- Monitor current and future player databases, ensure effective communication with all departments within the Academy on new players/ arrivals.

- A commitment to, and ability to deliver, outstanding customer care for all prospective families/students/players throughout the admissions process.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good planning and organisational skills and a flexible approach to the management of work.
- Advanced user of ICT in particular all elements of Microsoft office and outlook.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with resilience in a busy and sometimes demanding environment.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to multitask.
- Willing and able to adapt a flexible approach to working hours.
- A good sense of humour
- A commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of Students/Players.
- Able to work with a global diverse client base.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working in the admissions process in an educational setting.
