SEN Support Worker

For this SEN Support Worker role you will be required to support students with Special Educational Needs on an educational, emotional, and nurturing basis.

You will be based in a small class of 6 students with Profound and Multiple Learning difficulties, dueto the students needs they will be learning from an informal curriculum with will include topics such as communication, cognition, self-care, and independence.

A lot of these lessons will be done through play and using different senses.

Due to the studentsneeds as well as supporting them through their lessons, there will be an element of care involved, this will include supporting them on an emotional basis and with personal care.

Therefore, the ideal SEN Support Worker for this role must have had previousexperience in a SEN School or a care setting and have a kind and caring way.

SEN School

Based in the London borough of Lambeth, this SEN School caters for girls and boys aged between 2-11 year with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

They currently have 100 students who attendand in their last Ofsted in July 2019, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
