We are looking for a Controller
to join us at our client site in the City of London. This site is corporate and will be home to international companies including Law firms.

As a Controller at the site, you will responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at the site based control room.

To provide a proactive and effective security over watch of the assigned site buildings and public realm.

A typical day in the life as a Controller:

Deliver a professional command and control service
Provide immediate support to Estate and Building Teams to mitigate risk.
Trust you instinct and report anything suspicions, out of the ordinary or unusual.
Manage contractor movement and be aware of work permits including lone worker supervision
Control roombased keys and assets such as radios and equipment with MyTag
Ensure all lone workers are monitored and managed thoroughly throughout their shift
Manage and issue site radios allocated to the building always using MyTag
Produce daily/weekly reports as required relating to the activities of your area of responsibility
Manage, mitigate and when required investigate all incidents including gathering electronic evidence

DS & CCTV SIA Licence
Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a control room environment
Satisfactorily always meet and exceed the required standards.
Be trained at all building control rooms to ensure best practice and resilience is maintained
Deal with visitors to the security control room providing them with a personal service and guidance
Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from staff and management team
Maintain, lead, and inspire your staff with a continued interest in and commitment to the work of Wilson James
Strong IT (Information Technology) Skills (Microsoft, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint) with ability to use data to create reports and statistics
