Description

As an Assistant Project Controller you are responsible for the quality and integrity of specific project schedules and schedule analysis in terms of time, cost and resources.

Typical Accountabilities

Works under direction with a senior member of the function to deliver the following tasks to the necessary quality and required timeline;

  • Create/ maintain project schedules to achieve the project objectives
  • Create / maintain project schedules to reflect true cost and schedule performance
  • Work with the Project Manager and Work Package Managers to update the schedule in a timely manner and communicate the plan to the IPT
  • Work within well defined procedures in order to complete assigned tasks (including Lifecycle Management)
  • Track weekly/monthly project performance/plans in order to ensure project data is accurate to highlight and escalate any variances
  • Support identification of risks in or to the project schedule

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Maths and English GCSE Level 5 (or National 5 Grade C) or above
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Demonstrates team player qualities
  • Desire to learn and interact with greater number of stakeholders
  • Methodical with good attention to detail
