Milk Education is currently recruiting inspiring Teaching assistants to work within our mainstream primary schools based across the North Manchetser area.

We have continuous ad hoc supply needs, as well as part-time and full-time, short-term, and long-termroles.

Working on a supply basis is perfect for someone who has limited availability.

It is also a really good way to trial different schools on an ad hoc basis, with the view to securing a longer-term contract if the school is right for you.

This is a great opportunity for those who are looking for short to long-term roles for whichever best suits your employment needs.

Key responsibilities

Work alongside the Teacher to promote a positive and engaging learning environment
Be able to work with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis
Provide fun and engaging learning activities
Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills and active listening skills
Deliver feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's attainment in order to achieve end goals
Endorse procedures and policies related to data and child protection based on the school's policies.

Requirements:

Experience working within a school or a child work environment children within the past 2 years (Voluntary welcome)
Enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this, we can support you with this)
Enthusiastic and creative approach to supporting children
Knowledge and understanding of the primary national curriculum
