Location - West Malling

We have an opportunity in West Malling for a Trainee Technician to work for one of our clients. You will be working full time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Perform modelspecific final waterproofing tests
Carry out processes associated with the cleaning of cases and/or bracelets
Organise service workflow into the relevant holding stations
Log all service work processed on the Workshop Management Interface
Perform quality control on all refinished work
Transfer cases and bracelets, including relevant paperwork, from dedicated containers once the cleaning process is complete
Regularly replenish cleaning fluids/rinses and clean down all equipment daily
Inspect and identify worn / damaged components
Repair and adjust watch movements to specifications
Maintain tools and equipment to the required standards
Carry out tasks including service support, disassembly, assembly, and endcasing as appropriate
Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

Experienced in working to operating standards and procedures
Excellent attention to detail
A good level of dexterity and handtoeye coordination
Good communication skills
An interest in watches would be an advantage
