Description

A small food trading business in North London is looking for a Contract and Trading Administrator to join their trading team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the person appointed will become a Trader in the future. Someone with an open and outgoingattitude would be well suited to this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Issuing contracts.
  • Sending outcontracts to counterparties.
  • Chasing contracts signed by counterparties.
  • Receiving and reviewing contracts signed by counterparties.
  • Receiving and reviewing counterparties contracts.
  • Returning counterparties contracts signed by company
  • Under guidance of Managing Director, explore, research and generate new businesses by identifying new markets and business opportunities.
  • Help gather offers in order to provide to customers.
  • Gather market information and provide feedback to other members of the trading department on trends.
  • Follow and assist other traders with negotiating contractual terms and close businesses.
  • Represent the company in exhibitions and other events.
  • Produce information, tables and statistics as required by trading department.
  • Organise samples.
  • Any other project as required by trading team.
Required

  • Excellent phone manners.
  • Organisational skills and communication skills, written and oral.
  • At least 12 years of office administration or customer service experience.
  • Confident and determined approach.
  • Resilience ability to overcome rejection.
  • Creativity and flexibility.
  • Selfmotivation and drive.
  • Competitive streak.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms.
  • User level knowledge of MS Office.
  • Intermediate Excel.
Desired

  • Advanced Excel.
  • Deep understanding of Incoterms.
  • Fluent in 3rd language (apart from English and own market language).
  • University degree.
  • Experience in similar environment.
