Job purpose:

Liaising with key accounts and scheduling artic' s daily within our operations team. Manage order intake by having great awareness and diligence of the current order schedules maintaining excellence customer service at all times.

Job description

The role:

Manage order intake by having great awareness and diligence of the current order schedules and making sure to priorities job based on the customer's needs and forward planning of Artic assets.
Liaise with Key customer accounts
Schedule fleet using highly economical and costeffective routing.
Work closely within a fastpaced team to ensure planning of production and vehicle schedule.
Be responsible for the coordination of your vehicles ensuring their adherence to agreed service levels.
Liaise in a suitable time frame with both the Driver and the Customer in relation to delays and possible issues with delivery.
Briefing and liaising with drivers to ensure the plan is achievable (finish times and start times).
Communicating efficiently with drivers, ensuring they implement customers instructions, answer driver queries and action accordingly.
Prepare delivery paperwork for both drivers and customers to ensure accurate recording and tracking of deliveries.
Ensure that we are fully compliant with both drivers and vehicle statutory and legislative requirements.
On call and Saturday's required.

About you:

A great team player who is comfortable being part of a highly active and ambitious team.
Good use of Microsoft Office, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Transport Operation Systems.
A fantastic communicator who has equal quality with clients and employees.
Highly organised.
Ambitious.
Attention to detail.
Strong geographical knowledge of the United Kingdom road network.
Experience within a Transport or Logistics Coordinator position

Full time position.

Days:
Monday - Friday (Saturday's Mornings and on call out of hours on a rota)

Availability for overtime and On Call once competent in role.

Shifts hours to be decided and discussed between the hours of 06:00 to 19:00
