Purpose of the Role


As part of the Property & Estate Services team provide support by being responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Stores and by carrying out administrative tasks for the Property & Estate Services team.


Maintain the smooth operation of the Stores department ensuring the right number of materials, goods and products are in the right location to adequately supply the businesses operational demands.

Support the Maintenance Manager with the extensive compliance.

Be the first point of contact, for guests and staff, regarding physical deficiencies and maintenance tasks throughout Langdale's full building asset register.


Role Requirements

  • Have a working knowledge of MS Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to undertake a varied workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work independently under instruction.
  • High quality, standards of work with a diligent attention to detail.
  • Innovative and able to contribute to the development and improvement of the estate.
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic when meeting new challenges.
  • Your role will involve a certain amount of contact with a variety of stake holders therefore you must be able to demonstrate good customer care and communication skills and have a polite, pleasant manner.
  • Maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Be responsible and measured.
  • A work ethic that drives a task through to completion.
  • Remain flexible and be able to adapt to varied duties, extended hours (when required) and a variable shift pattern.
  • Liaise with other departments and work as part of a bigger team.

A few 'need to knows'

  • This role is offered with a live out salary of £24,736.90.
  • Shift patterns consist of eighthour shifts working over five days of our sevenday week. As part of our training programme (whether that be as a new starter or continuous role related training), colleagues are required to take part in all shift patterns.
  • All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
