The main purpose of this role:

  • to supervise a warehouse team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a section of order fulfilment at the company's Online Distribution Centre.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Supervising a team, including initial training, regular performance reporting and continual motivation
  • Taking a handson approach to picking, packing and shipping parcels to ensure the highest service levels are achieved
  • Upholding and improving health and safety practices
  • Supporting with wider supervision of the warehouse operations.

A successful applicant should have:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment with the physical capability to lift heavy boxes when required
  • A positive attitude to building relationships, leading a team by example, and working independently
  • Enthusiasm for developing product and wider business knowledge
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using IT, including Office and stock management software.
