Seven Social Care is looking for a Court Consultant in the Bradford, West Yorkshire area.

The rate of pay for this position is set at £40.00 P/H.

This is a full timne role of 37 Hours per week.

Job Purpose:

To support the Management team across Children's services in delivering a high quality social care service to children and families.
To take a lead role in the support and development of excellent social work practice related to statutory processes, caser management responsibilty for cases in proceedings.
To ensure timely permanence for children in line with the service aim of reducing the numbers of children looked after, including preparation of regular performance reports for senior managers.

Main responsibilities:

To case manage and track the progression of care and discharge proceedings cases originating in Bradford Council against the agreed timescales.
To Work with key stakeholders to devise and implement new ways of working and set clear standards in respect of court directed work.
To be delegated supplementary supervisory responsibilities in relation to PLO and care proceedings cases for a number of less experienced workers within the department.
To collect, monitor and analyse data in relation to team performance in Public Law Outline and care proceedings cases.
The Court Consultant will routinely quality assure and audit social work case records, assessments, plans and documentation to promote excellence and ensure that practice standards are being met.

Qualifications:

A recognised professonal Social Work qualification e.g Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent.
Registered with the current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)/SWE.
Relevant UK experience
