Fleet Delivery Assistant - Broxburn, United Kingdom - Just Go
Description
Reporting to the Internal Fleet Delivery Supervisor, you will carry out tasks and work with the internal Fleet Delivery team to ensure our motorhomes are ready for hire and sales as per business requirements.
Working alongside the external team you will be responsible for ensuring all areas within the internal team are carried out to the highest standard.
Daily responsibilities:
- Internal precheckout inspections (IPCI)
- Minor fixes (internal)
- Liaise with workshop & logistics for fixes that cannot be done in the yard
- Allocation and organisation of internal casual staff (in absence of supervisor)
- Internal clean inspections
- Assist in the training of internal staff, both casual and permanent
- Maintenance of linen stock and preparation
- Responsible for the cleaning of vehicles as and when required
- Vehicle movements, internal and offsite
- Wash bay duties
- All operational stocktake of internal items accurately counted with stock levels being managed and adjusted accordingly
- Opening and closing of depot responsibilities on a rota basis (peak periods; hours between 8:00am 6:30pm)
- Organise and assist with end of day lock up procedure
- Assist in the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, ensuring stock is readily available (including welcome packs, hoovers, full spray bottles etc)
- Liaise with FOH for on time delivery of vehicles for check outs
- Maintain realtime by completing all electronic forms with 100% accuracy to ensure relevant data is accurate and accessible companywide
- Ensure health and safety through maintaining the wash bay, barn and yard areas
- Maintain yard map & ensure EOD vehicle stock take is correct
- Support and carry out external team duties as and when required
- Assist with the Italy preparation workflow at both LCY & PSA
Person Specification- Fosters a high level of morale at all times
- Knowledge of housekeeping customer service principles and practices
- Good attention to detail and understanding of systems, processes and their importance
- Experienced working at all levels, demonstrating strong relationship building skills
- Ability to train and provide feedback to employees to create a strong workforce
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service demonstrating business focus and a desire to succeed beyond what is expected
- Resilient and flexible and able to work in a fast paced and dynamic demanding environment
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to regroup at short notice
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
- Full UK driver's license with more than 2 years driving experience

Schedule:
40 hour working week over 5 days Monday to Saturday
