Job Title:
General Healthcare Assistant (NHS)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Healthcare Assistant to join our team within the NHS.

As a General Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clinical staff, ensuring that our patients receive thehighest standard of care.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting clinical staff with basic patient care such as washing and dressing, feeding, and moving patients
  • Taking patients' vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature
  • Providing support during medical procedures
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality is maintained
  • Assisting with cleaning and maintaining clinical equipment
  • Supporting patients with their daily activities and providing emotional support

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis including weekends and nights
