Are you a reliable, committed, dynamic, and motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work?

Blandford Community Mental Health team seeks a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care delivery which considers people's safety, privacy, and dignity.

You will provide interventions, assessments, and treatments, manage patients on a caseload and plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.

You will work within a supportive established integrated multi-disciplinary team.

This team is made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurse prescriber, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Workers, OTs, Support Time Recovery Workers and Psychologists.


The Community Mental Health Practitioner role is full-time Monday to Friday and based in Blandford and covers the surrounding villages.

You will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as you will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.
