Category Manager | Hybrid | £40,588 per annum | 12 Month FTC

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a leading national Public sector organisation, to recruit a Category Manager.

This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, requiring on-site presence 1 day per week at the Lincolnshire based office.

This position would suit an individual with a strong background in public sector procurement, with extensive experience working under frameworks.

Role:

Work under the Estates and Facilities category
Fire Safety Project
Catering Project
Work under national framework, produce direct awards and further competitions
Develop under threshold tenders, and open over threshold tenders on an adhoc basis
Manage one direct report, assist in furthering their development
Put together and present post contract award reports to stakeholders

Individual:

Open to individuals from Private and Public sector backgrounds
No previous line management experience required
Experience working with frameworks is ideal
Best suited for an individual looking to further their development in a Public Sector environment
