We're working with an organisation based in Darlington with a passion for investment in the local economy to recruit an experienced Head of Performance, Risk and Assurance for a 6 month interim contract.

Applicants should be skilled in Risk Management, Performance Management, Assurance and Insurance with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of Performance Management solutions across the Group.
Responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of risk management and control measures across the Group including the development, management and review of all associated policies and procedures in line with best practice.
Responsible for leading all assurance activities across the Group, working with both internal and external stakeholders who are in receipt of Group funding and have responsibility for delivering assigned outputs and outcomes.
Lead the management and coordination of all claims and monitoring activity and ensure all associated legal documentation and funding agreements are managed efficiently and effectively.
Ensure the Group has appropriate insurance arrangements in place and that these are kept under regular review to ensure they remain appropriate and proportionate.
