The Role - Accounts Assistant
Reporting to the Client Bank & Reconciliations Manager, the Accounts Assistant is fully accountable for the whole bank reconciliation process.
They provide an indispensable service to the finance team, underpinning the wider financial stability of the business through their robust processes and systems.
Other duties include management of the group inbox, follow up and resolve any account discrepancies in a timely manner. The Accounts Assistant will generally work as part of the Bank & Reconciliations team. However, he/she may be required to work independently and perform other adhoc duties in support of other finance groups.
The role of an Accounts Assistant is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, to ensure all property accounts are fully reconciled in line with the procedures set.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of property bank accounts to the Qube system
- Reconciliation with Group Finance
- Daily management of the inbox
- Account discrepancies
- Any adhoc duties
Skills
- Accounts receivable and bank reconciling experience.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Good team skills.
- Proven administration skills with attention to details & accuracy.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships in and across teams.
- To be computer literate, and can demonstrate computer skills with Qube advance and MS Office
