St John are looking for dynamic and experienced Account Receivable Specialist to come and be part of our in-house Shared Services Team, delivering high value invoicing and debt recovery services on behalf of our internal departments.


The role will be based at our shared services centre in Sheffield where you will have on-site parking and can work in a hybrid model once your training has been completed.


MSS provides a wide range of administrative services supporting the day-to-day activities of St John, including Finance, People, Property, Events and Fleet.

The role of MSS is fundamental to the success of St John.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will be Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C), minimum of 5 including Maths & English, you will be passionate about delivering quality service and will have experience of dealing with high value and complicated debt recovery processes in a fast paced, customer orientated environment.

You will have excellent communication and engagement skills be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure that our cashflow is maximised.

You will have an eye for detail, a clear understanding of debt collection processes and be able to work as part of a dynamic team.


About the Role

  • Works within defined processes, liaising with operational teams as appropriate, to deliver effective and efficient administrative support
  • Participate in projects and on multifunctional teams providing advice and contribution in relation to the activities of the team
  • Provide high quality customer and stakeholder service that places that customer at the heart of all we do and enhances the reputation and efficiency of St John
  • Ensures that uptodate records are maintained of every enquiry, allowing others to accurately understand the status and historical activity
