Grafton Banks Finance are working with a Global Financial Services company with offices in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We are looking for a Payables Processing Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. Working Hybrid 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

Reporting into the Head of Accounts Payable and Receivables the main purpose of the job is to support a busy finance team in completing monthly information for multiple group companies.

You will need to provide accurate and timely information on monthly basis to a variety of stakeholders within the finance community.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Team management & development; including objective setting, performance management and appraisals.
Manage relevant creditor accounts with an understanding of all credits on the GL system.
Reduce creditor days and manage write off process.
Ensure working instructions are completed by the team for each task/process and ensure sufficient cover is in place across the department.
Make recommendations for process improvements on a continual basis.
Supervise posting of approved purchase invoices and expenses.
Check and approve weekly and monthly payment runs.
Check and provide commentary for creditor balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce a monthly timetable for the processing team.
Advise system administrators of any issues and help resolve where possible.
Other ad hoc tasks requested by financial managers.
