Industria Personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Team Leader to join their team based at their site in Hinckley, this role a permanent position with the client


The role of warehouse Team Leader will primarily be focused on providing the client with world-class parts availability and customer service across a multi shift operation.

The key purpose of the position will be focused on ensuring that the right part isin the right place at the right time in order to facilitate and contribute to accurate order fulfilment from location through to the end customers worldwide in line with the Corporate code of conduct embracing and demonstrating Integrity, Excellence, Teamworkand Commitment in all activities undertaken.

Working alongside the Coaches, the Team Leader will be responsible for aiding in the organizing of daily work and the development of all warehouse associates through ongoing feedback and communication


Responsibilities:


  • Motivate and energise a team of warehouse associates in line with facility goals encompassing all aspects including Quality and productivity
  • Deputising for Coaches through absence
  • Daily control of specific areas of responsibility working alongside the warehouse associates to ensure that all goals are met and exceeded
  • Inducting new staff both agency and permanent into the facility
  • Training new staff both in terms of physical processes and facility expectations
  • Champion of the tracks process and an example of the corporate values
  • Contributing and leading at shift start meetings to foster an open environment with a positive view of change
  • Ensure all personnel comply with facility processes and work in a safe and effective manner

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 1pm-9pm & 1 in 4 call out at weekends


Salary:
£ call-out £115 per week worked + minimum 3 hours overtime when called.

  • Ideally experienced working in warehousing operations (min 1 year)
  • Must be numerate, literate and able to effectively communicate at all levels
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative is critical
  • Ability to be flexible, honest and able to work under documented facility goals
  • Previous leadership experience is desirable with the ability to practically demonstrate the ability to energise a team of warehouse associates
No qualifications required for this role, further on the job training will be provided
