A vacancy has arisen for a Fitter, to join our team within our contract for a Welder Fabricator to provide support the maintenance department at Daldowie fuel plant.

Hargreaves Industrial Services have a contract with Drax power to carry out support services to the main operational & maintenance activities at Daldowie Fuel Pant.

These activities include plant maintenance, tanker services, general cleaning, labouring & housekeeping duties.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - _**- Experience of heavy industrial machinery and material handling equipment.

Experience of working within the wastewater industry is preferred.
Experienced Welder / Fabricator
Able to work within a multi skilled team and on their own initiative.
Clear understanding of Health and Safety rules is a must.
Clear understanding of Risk Assessments & Method Statements required.
Competent to operate safely using permit to work system.
General maintenance and routines

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - _**- ECITB Passport to Safety or equivalent.

A flexible & adaptable approach to work
A reliable attitude and good punctuality
Strong team working skills
Good communication skills & the confidence and professionalism to liaise with the maintenance team
A safety conscious attitude and commitment to always abide by all safety rules and systems.
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when required.
