Job description:
IT Service Desk Lead - London - Hybrid - £ bonus

Our client, an expert within the Lloyds insurance market, is dedicated to insurance, reinsurance, and claims management with a primary objective in aiding clients in making risk-related decisions, with data science playing a pivotal role as a driving force.

They are currently searching for an IT Service Desk Lead who will facilitate the efficient operation of the Service Desk function, overseeing issue escalations, EUC, asset inventories, and daily IT support through close collaboration with on-site, near-shore service desk teams, and internal IT.

They offer a very lucrative package in terms of salary, benefits and bonus and hybrid working.


You as the IT Service Desk Lead, will offer tactical and strategic guidance to a unified on-site and near-shore Service Desk team, refining current processes and introducing novel ones.

As the IT Service Desk Lead you will collaborate with the broader IT department, spanning from Infrastructure Engineering, Application Support, and Project Delivery, where you'll establish a seamless connection between IT and the business.

You as the IT Service Desk Lead define and integrate support procedures for the transition of systems and services from the Project stage to BAU.

As the IT Service Desk Lead you will review supplier Service Desk metrics and actions on a monthly basis.

You as the IT Service Desk Lead will conduct weekly meetings with Service Delivery representatives to address issues, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as an IT Service Desk Lead with Azure AD preferably in the insurance space

Working knowledge or experience in most the following:

  • Leading a service desk function and defining new systems, processes, and training
  • Support requests relating to Microsoft Azure and M365 Environments, such as AAD, Exchange Online, Office 365, etc.
  • ITIL principles and processes with level 3 foundation certification
  • Windows 10 build, autopilot configuration and iPhone / iOS MDM enrolment and management using MS Endpoint manager.
  • Management of Windows 10 build, autopilot configuration, and enrolment and administration of iPhone/iOS MDM through MS Endpoint Manager
  • Managing Azure virtual desktop environment
  • Beneficial:
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Azure certificate and PowerShell Scripting

Salary - up to £65k + lots of benefits + bonus
Location - London - Hybrid
