Further growth and expansion means we have a new opportunity for someone to join our highly collaborative technical team, who has a high level of experience but who has an aspiration to move into a technical architect role in the future.
This role will provide you with a great opportunity to gain good exposure to networking technologies, progress your career into architecture, while you help shape the future networking capabilities of networks.
Key Responsibilities
- SCCM administration, with a focus on Managed Desktop Deployment
- MDT administration for build and capture of OS deployment images
- Support of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 Managed Desktop solutions
- BAU support of SCCM / MDT
- Troubleshoot and own incidents, problems and issues as they arise
- Perform detailed root cause analysis as necessary
- Transition of Managed Desktop solutions into BAU Support, including training handovers supported by quick guides and customer focused documentation
- Group Policy design and troubleshooting
- Providing third level escalation support within SCC for SCCM queries
- Proactive SCCM maintenance and health checks for all customer bases
- Creation and maintenance of all SCCM related documents
Key skills & experience:
- Proven experience of administering SCCM/MDT
- Experience of working and delivering to large scale high value project streams
- Proven track record of working with 3rd party customers and suppliers in a design, project and support perspective
- System Centre Configuration Manager 2012 R
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
- Microsoft Desktop Optimisation Pack (MDOP)
- Windows 7, 8.1, 10
- Experience in administering group policy
- Scripting skills including VBscript and PowerShell
- Methodical and technically minded with strong focus on high quality standards and excellent attention to detail
- Design, documentation skills
- Proven experience of having good fault finding and troubleshooting skills
