Hourly Rate:
£ £12.53
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement of £0.72p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Cumbria Care teams in Ulverston & Barrow as Support Workers (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Disability and Mental Health Services.
Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults including people with learning disabilities or complex care needs to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes in the community.
Staff work with individuals to build life skills and are led by the individuals interests and priorities.About the role
As a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.
You may also assist with medication providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
You will have a regular rostered shift pattern where you will be part of a small team providing 24/7 care to individuals in their own home.
This is an extremely rewarding role where you will be providing person centred care to a small group of individuals to help them enrich their lives and broaden their horizons.
