Year 6 Teaching Assistant | ASC Support | West Croydon


Ortus Recruitment has a partner school based in West Croydon who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 2 pupils in Year 6 with Autism.


You will support these children on a 1:2 basis, helping them with their literacy and numeracy skills preparing them for end of year assessments.

You will also ensure that pupils are engaging well within lessons, encouraging creative ideas and social skills.

ASC Teaching Assistant | Job Summary

  • Your role as an ASC Teaching Assistant will involve working on a 1:1 and classroom basis to encourage and guide student's learning.
  • You'll develop a strong understanding of the unique needs of individual pupils, tailoring your support accordingly.
  • Monitor and record the progress students make under your supervision.
  • Work alongside other staff members to ensure student's wellbeing and success.

- £80-£90 per day PAYE

  • Longterm, Fulltime
  • September Start
