Are you a data-driven individual with a passion for managing and curating data throughout its lifecycle? Are you experienced in data analysis, visualization, and quality assurance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Data Specialist at Said Business School.
Your role will involve creating, managing, maintaining, and validating data, as well as providing data analysis and visualization for both internal and external use.
You will also contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our reporting functionality, including self-service reporting and visualizations.
To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical and data management skills, along with proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and quality assurance.
You will leverage your expertise to improve our department's reporting and data analysis capabilities, effectively communicate data information to support policy and procedures, and explore opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, insights, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Management and Curation_
- Execute regular transaction processes to maintain operations records and databases, providing support to users on data management issues such as reporting, querying, exports, imports, and data matching.
- Conduct data audits to ensure data integrity and quality, performing data reconciliations to identify anomalies. Support teams across the school in the preparation and provision of information
- Management Information Reporting and Business Intelligence_
- Compile standard reports, respond to ad hoc reporting requests, and develop new reports to meet the needs of colleagues across the School.
- Conduct analysis and produce reports and tools (e.g. dashboards)
- Analyse data from various sources and produce reports and tools, including dashboards, to support senior management and inform business decisions.
