Operations Director

General Haulage, Pallets, Containers

Salary budgets are £60K plus car/car allowance & Benefits.

Covering Aberdeen to Glasgow

We are looking for an energetic Operations Manager to join our growing Haulage company.


Reporting to the MD, your main tasks will be:


  • Lead and develop the logistics team


This role needs someone who can coach and develop a team, drive change in processes and systems, and work with the rest of the business to deliver on our objectives.

You need to be a team player, experienced in managing people and projects while workinghands on, able to identify improvements and communicate clearly.

It's a challenging role and you need to be resilient and understand working in a cross-cultural business.


You also need to be structured, methodical and well-organised, able to take responsibility and work well with multiple duties and deadlines.

You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

You must be fluent in English (other language skills are an advantage).


Essential qualifications and skills:


  • Managing P&L must have strong financial experience.
  • Experience with General Haulage, or Pallets or Freight or Containers
