Working across 7 days per week including bank holidays


We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to 'Resource the World'.We are looking for an individual to join the team based at our Household Waste Recycling Centre in Southport.


What will you be doing?

  • Provide an effective and efficient recycling service to the residents of Hampshire with their household waste and recycling.
  • To assist members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal
  • To ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition, removing any fly tipped waste and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
  • Operate site mobile plant as and when required and perform routine daily checks, maintenance and cleaning of plant, tools and equipment
  • To ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site
  • To assist with other parts of the operation as and when required
Training will be provided for CMS level 1, JCB operators and first aid.


What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a similar customer facing operational environment
  • Manual handling experience
  • Full driving licence
This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
