Applications are invited for the post of Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator within the Wellbeing department at Royal Holloway University of London.


The role holder will act as the first point of contact for all aspects of supporting students living in the local community.

The role will include responding to all community concerns raised, and also providing administrative and triage support to the Wellbeing:
Support & Guidance team of Wellbeing Advisers and Harassment Advisers.

The Co-ordinator will act to support students living in the local community and seek to promptly resolve areas of concern under our internal processes which will include partnership working with teams in Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey Police and engagement with members of the local community.


We are seeking an empathetic and proactive individual who will understand and manage the balance of providing good support to students and the wider local community and who understands where tensions can arise and has a commitment to fairly and proportionately responding to these.


This role is suited to someone that has strong interpersonal skills, is a good communicator and has the resilience to deal with often very challenging, sensitive and demanding situations.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and GDPR compliancy in administrative work is also an essential requirement as is the ability to engage supportively and constructively with community partners and stakeholders.


Regular supervision and peer reflective practice from our internal Mental Health & Wellbeing Supervisor is available to all Wellbeing staff.

This is a full-time and permanent post, available immediately.
