This Financial Controller offers the breadth of roles you'd expect in a SME business, a hands-on role embedded into the numbers and advisory to the MD's.

The type of accountant who would thrive here is the type who enjoys working with none finance andis after a good split of business partnering and project work.

This could appeal to an accountant who wants the opportunity to be number 1 in finance, what defines this opportunity is that you will be the first of its kind in this business and be responsible for setting up processes, controls, and systems from scratch.

This is a chance to add some great experience to your CV working for a profitable sub £10m business who have created this brand new role in the business.

Key elements to this role will be implementing KPI reporting, the management team requires someone with the ability to interpret numbers but also a calming and trusting business partner.

Our client is keen to talk to accountants who have progressed through management accounts who can demonstrate adding value in a commercial and operational setting, you'll have a track record in setting up new systems and processes.

This role will report straightinto the MD's and therefore a great platform to demonstrate your ability and is suitable for a proactive self-starter.
