Job Description:

Job Location:Ashby de la Zouch
As a Sample Reception Technician, you'll be responsible for the processing of workload in sample reception, in accordance with documented procedures.
The main focus of this job is subcontracting samples to other laboratories within UK, EU and other non EU countries.
Key Accountabilities;
- Provide administrative support to the testing laboratories.
- Responsible for logging samples in the laboratory onto the booking in system in accordance with customer and company objectives.
- Dealing with other subcontract laboratories and filling in declarations for sending samples to EU and other non EU countries.
- Promptly inform the Team Leader of any difficulties that may impact on KPI's in order to ensure remedial action is taken and/or customer expectations are managed.
- Ensure all data entry is to a high standard and correct samples are purchased.
- Complete training when required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English; experience using Microsoft office software and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
In addition to the above you'll also need to demonstrate the following;

- Able to work under pressure
- Able to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment
