Arm's Central Technology organisation is responsible for early development and selection of technology to keep Arm's products redefining the state-of-the-art.
We are looking for someone to join our team for an internship and undertake investigations and prototypes to help set the technical direction.
We do analysis and investigations of graphics algorithms and solutions, with an emphasis on our Mali GPU. This is an opportunity for you to help shape the future of accelerated graphics
Early stage of graphics use-case prototyping requires a diverse skill set and the role would favour applicants with a broad knowledge of computer graphics software development with preferably Vulkan API and C++ experience.
You will collaborate closely with other members of the team to share ideas and develop ray tracing use-case prototypes in 1-2 person groups.
Required Skills:
Whilst we will develop and enhance your experience and skills on program, there are a few things that you need to offer too, such as:
- Experience with GPU programming, in particular Vulkan API,
- Genuine curiosity about computer graphics, preferably with experience in ray tracing,
- Knowledge in C++, debugging techniques. Have a creative and structured approach to problemsolving.
