We are looking for someone ready to start immediately on a 6 week fixed term contract on the Marchington Industrial Estate, Nr Uttoxeter.

Ideally suited to a Driver due to remote location_

Job Title:
NPC Stores Operative, based at our Warehouse, Marchington nr Uttoxeter.


Reports to:
NPC Supervisor


SUMMARY
Provide pro-active support to internal and external customers providing an effective and efficient technical parts supply.

  • Accurate administration and supply of spare parts for immediate distribution to engineers and end users.
  • Liaison and technical support to the Technical Call Centre.
  • Working to established processes in accordance with internal business procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Description of Key Duties.


Work with the warehouse team to ensure that all service centre's parts requests are dispatched in accordance with After Sales Service Levels as directed and as required.


Maintain parts stock locations within main warehouse, ensuring that the quantities and counts are correct as directed and as required.

Ensure that Out of Stock items are identified and Warehouse Admin is informed immediately

Maintain Carrier Database by adding and updating customer addresses.


Receipt and storage of spare parts, confirming accuracy of counts against packing lists and raising discrepancies to Warehouse Team Leader.


Assist in the control of warehouse stocks, planned checks of stock inventory and investigating discrepancies demonstrating audit trails where necessary.


Conduct interim and random stock checks on a weekly/monthly basis, to be carried out on High Value and Fast Moving line items as requested.


Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines in the warehouse, maintaining a clean & safe working environment at all times.

Undertake ad-hoc projects as deemed necessary, to increase the effectiveness and overall efficiency of the After Sales Service Dept.
