Parts & Logistics Assistant

Norwich
Working Hours: 39 hours per week Monday - Friday
Salary:
£24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

The Role - Parts & Logistics Assistant:
Due to continued success Fabcon Food Systems is looking to expand its Parts & Logistics Team.
We are looking for someone to assist the Parts & Logistics Co-Ordinator with all aspects of stores day to day functions & purchasing of consumable items.
Responsibilities - Parts & Logistics Assistant:
- Sign for incoming deliveries.
- Log incoming deliveries.
- Check incoming deliveries match with PO
- Assign job number and store in location.
- Contact supplier with any discrepancies
- Raise returns paperwork if required.
- Maintain consumables stock, order replenishment as required.
- Provide internal staff with counter service for consumable items such as fixings etc.
- Picking BOM items, marking up & placing on job shelf, highlighting items that need to be ordered.
- Picking, Packing & Raising delivery notes for outgoing repeat spares orders.
- Arranging courier collections.
- Occasional collections from local suppliers.
You'll become an important cog in the business as a hub of knowledge for all incoming & outgoing Parts / Orders, so a friendly approachable manner is a must.
Person Specification - Parts & Logistics Assistant:
- Attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- Initiative is key.
- Must possess a valid full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills:
- Forklift certified. (Full training will be provided)
- Experience in exporting.
- Knowledge of Metal Fabrication / Pipe Fittings / Power Tools
