Salary:
£38,002 to £47,502 per annum plus a Car Allowance of £2,070 per annum (offered between this scale dependent on experience)


We're on the lookout for a Project Surveyor to join our team As a brand new role in our Property Services department, you will have the opportunity to shape the role and make a huge difference.

As a Project Surveyor you will:

  • Deliver surveying and oversee planned works across Moat's property portfolio. This includes estate improvement, regeneration, decarbonisation retrofit and fire safety remediation
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and ensure all projects are completed to compliance standards, specification, schedule and cost, keeping detailed records
  • Provide a technical support to Moat and our customers by conducting property surveys and diagnosing defects
  • Oversee quality control and supervision for each contract, ensuring adequate provision is made on site for building legislation and health and safety requirements
  • Provide management reports and schedules of defects when necessary
  • Work closely with the Building Safety Managers, ensuring all relevant legislation is being adhered to

We're looking for someone who:


  • Has a good understanding of building pathology, construction techniques and an understanding of budgeting processes and standing orders
  • Has the ability to manage maintenance, minor repair and refurbishment projects
  • Has the knowledge of managing and inspecting all aspects of major works and planned improvements
  • Has working knowledge of residential property, housing legislation, working in occupied buildings, building regulation and conservation consent
  • Has experience of liaising with customers from small scale to large complex projects
  • Has appropriate means of transport and a Full UK Driving Licence
