About the role:


The Senior Traffic Order Maker will provide professional advice to senior management on complex issues relating to the legal standing of traffic orders and be responsible for the management and coordination of the legal traffic order making process including drafting ,together with support of the Traffic Order Maker all temporary, experimental, and permanent restrictions to the Council's highway network including estate roads.

The Parking Policy and Projects team includes 4 permanent vacancies that will work on a range of projects and schemes including controlled parking zones, disabled parking provision and a number of measures to promote use to cycling such as cycle hangars and dockless cycle parking and provision of electric vehicle charging points to help meet growing demand.
