We're looking for cleaners to be part of our shared services team, to support our day to day running, maintaining a high quality of cleanliness in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

Our cleaners are an integral part of our operations, providing an important function at Manchester Youth Zone, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-presented facility for our members and the local community.

This role is Saturday and Sunday mornings, with the opportunity for overtime on bank holidays and school holidays.


Key duties will include:

  • To be responsible for cleaning areas of MYZ, following the cleaning schedule including toilets, sanitary fittings and surrounding areas
  • To use cleaning materials as per the guidelines set
  • To operate cleaning machinery, including vacuums and buffers to clean soft and hard surfaces
  • Spot cleaning of spillages
  • Replenishing janitorial supplies, and ordering of new stock (training will be provided)
  • Completing daily cleaning records
  • To be responsible for monthly deep cleaning, following the cleaning schedule
  • Reporting of all defects/hazards to Facilities Manager
No qualifications necessary, but experience of commercial cleaning is desirable.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 6-8 per week


Salary:
£10.90 per hour
