Key Role:
Discussion, coordination and documentation of overall data migration strategy with Tech (and Business) teams

Key role between Tech teams and Business Data Leads facilitating discussion/ communication (both ways) where needed.

  • Discuss and coordinate with Tech teams of specific unstructured data migration approaches/paths along with possible data transfer mechanisms

Coordination, planning and implementation of wave migration strategy with various Tech and Archive teams

  • Coordination and documentation of
    Data Migration Plans (with input from Tech teams)

Coordinate execution activities with various Tech/Archive teams to facilitate the migration of unstructured data - this includes both pre-migration and post migration activities

  • Perform
    triage and analysis of technical risks/issues pertaining to premigration activities, execution activities or postmigration activities (e.g. SP Janitor issues, special/256 character issues, etc)

Facilitate testing and sign off with Tech/Archive teams to verify that data has been transferred/deleted/archived as necessary before offering to the business for final sign off.

  • Ensure
    proper documentation, tracking and audit trails for the execution of the migration including migrations logs, business signoffs and any other documentation pertaining to issue resolutions as and when they arise.
  • Coordination of
    regular meetings with relevant Tech/Archive teams (weekly and as and when required)

Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£405.96-£753.67 per day
