Engenera Renewables Group are seeking to recruit an Electrical Surveyor and Designer to join our Technical Design Team. Engenera Renewables Group are a technology agnostic renewable solutions provider, built on a strong digital and data driven platform.

This role will support the design and delivery of renewable energy solutions, with a particular focus on electrical design and surveying of commercial Rooftop Solar, Battery and EV Charging systems.

As an Electrical Surveyor and Designer, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed electrical surveys and developing designs for the integration of systems into existing electrical networks.

You will produce design documentation and an electrical BOM and liaise with external electrical consultants were appropriate.

Alongside electrical surveys you will carry out site surveys to inform other designs, including rooftop drone surveys, and completion of reports for provision to structural engineers.

Access to a company vehicle will be provided.

Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

Electrical Design of Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging Projects
Attend Site Visits to carry out Electrical Surveys and full site surveys to include consideration of Drone Surveys, Scaffolding and Access, and Structural Information gathering
Produce detailed electrical schematics and Bill of Materials following survey
Support production of Contractors Proposal documentation
Work with Operations team to provide technical support and ensure projects are installed to design specification
Liaise with DNOs to secure relevant agreements for renewable assets
Carry out risk assessments

Required Skills/Experience

Strong background in commercial electrical design
Knowledge and experience of wiring regulations (Qualified to 18th edition)
Proven Experience using AutoCAD
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Full UK Driving License
Flexible to travel nationwide when needed for project surveys/client meetings (c. 2 days per week)
