Contact: Olivia WilliamsEames Consulting are working with a well-respected specialist insurer who are looking for an Underwriter to join their successful Legal Expenses department.

This role offers the opportunity to work with new and existing business cases, building trading relationships and managing their own work flow.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an established Legal Expenses background or who is an experienced Portfolio/Schemes Underwriter looking for a new challenge.

Key responsibilities include:

Underwriting both new and existing schemes business, with a focus on Before The Event Legal Expenses.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing brokers and customers.
Exposure to work on underwriting new business risks across SME, Commercial, Mid-Corporate and the Corporate Market
Regularly liaising with a panel of brokers to negotiate terms of business.
