The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the international federation for cycling, currently stages annual individual world championship events in each of its cycling disciplines (from Road and BMX Racing to Urban and Para Track Cycling) in different host cities around the world.


In 2023, the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships ('2023 UCI Cycling Worlds') will bring together 13 UCI world championships from 7 different cycling disciplines in one unprecedented event for the first time ever, which will see thousands of the world's best able bodied and para cyclists vying to be crowned world champion and win the prestigious 'rainbow jersey'.

The 2023 UCI Cycling Worlds is set to be the biggest cycling event ever to take place.


With less than 6 months to go until the Championships, 2023 Cycling World Championships Ltd is seeking an experienced Systems Coordinator to join the project as it moves into its operational delivery phase.

This is a unique chance to be part of something different that will enhance Scotland's reputation on a global scale as the perfect stage for events.

Qualifications
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

Knowledge & Experience

  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of GPDR and Data Protection policies is desired but not essential
  • Experience working with large databases, including data input, bulk importing and exporting via excel
  • Competent in report writing and presenting data in various formats
  • Competent working with key stakeholders to deliver an integrated project with service providers, whilst providing an exemplary level of customer service to users
  • Experienced in building cooperative relationships, with an attention to detail to understand individual functional areas requirements and operations

Skills

  • High level of organisation skills and experience managing multiple projects at once with an ability to prioritise
  • Ability to manage the demands of an evolving organisation structure, able to think with initiative, innovation and resilience
  • Able to collaborate effectively and efficiently, engaging with both internal and external colleagues to create strong rapports
  • Comfortable in the use of systems and databases
  • Ability to identify project risks and issues and propose innovative solutions with clear and appropriate communication
  • Ability to drive progress and engage colleagues in new ways of working.
