We are looking for a resilient and strong Procurement Professional to lead our commercial strategy development in IT and Digital by managing the team responsible for the delivery of the strategy to ensure successful delivery on these requirements and projects.

To do this you would need to take responsibility for negotiating high-value tenders and contracts for goods and services, achieving the most advantageous outcomes for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Sheffield Children's Hospital Trusts (the Trusts), lead on national, regional and South Yorkshire Wide procurement initiatives in relation to IT and digital and operate effective information systems to ensure accessibility of data that adds value to decision making.

Who are you?

  • Experienced in systems and hardware procurement projects involving high value procurement activities and roll outs.
  • An experienced supplier negotiator used to being a critical friend and working commercially with stakeholders.
  • An experienced people manager able to manage escalations and give guidance.
  • PCR 2015 expert with demonstrable public sector procurement experience.
  • MCIPS qualified
