Permanent:
Full-Time


The Firm:

A niche leading firm who specialises in Crime and Family work, are expanding and opening multiple new offices.

Having only started in 2013 the firm has gone through a period of exponential growth whilst still retaining its core values and ethos.

This opportunity will be based at their brand-new Solihull office and you will have access to latest software and technology.


The Position:


The firm are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to support the managing director directly in all aspects of both professional and personal life.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Attending meetings & conferences, preparing minutes and subsequently distributing them
  • Collating and indexing Court bundles and documents
  • Communicating with clients and stakeholders within the Criminal Justice System
  • Digital audio transcription
  • General administrative duties and tasks
  • Handling enquiries and screening telephone calls
  • Maintaining filing system
  • Making travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Organising and maintaining office systems
  • Organising Managing Director's entire schedule
  • Preparing Expenses
  • Production, preparation and amendment of legal & business documents, statements and forms
  • Primary point of contact in the absence of Principal
  • Provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries when required to do so

Requirements:


The successful Personal Assistant should have**:

  • A professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to type accurately with minimum 90 WPM
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Active listening and record keeping skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and people management skills
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and word processing
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality

  • Salary £30,000 £35,000
