Milk Education is working in partnership with a lovely and supportive, primary school in St Helens who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in their Early Years class.

This role will be Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30 starting ASAP.

This Teaching Assistant role could lend itself well to someone who has been working in a private day nursery and is looking to transition into education.

Responsibilities:

- _To work under the direction of the teacher in small groups and on a one-to-one basis_
- _Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils' work_
- _Work closely with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets/appropriate to EYFS_
- _Assist with the planning of learning activities_
- _Monitor pupil's responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed_
- _Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement, progress, problems etc_
- _Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent childcare qualification ie, Childhood Degree/Early childhood studies_
- _Have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be familiar with the seven areas of development_
- _Be fully available now or in January 2023_
