Description

Background

Health and social care reform is at the heart of our region's reform and growth agenda; healthy and independent people play a crucial part in enabling us to achieve our ambition for a growing and sustainable Greater Manchester in the future.

To achieve this, we know we need radical change at scale in how health and social care is provided.

The Programme is now in the delivery phase, which is fast-paced and with significant deliverables that will improve the lives of those using health and social care services.

We work with all ten Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS, social care providers, voluntary and community sector organisations, and national bodies to deliver these positive outcomes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two talented individuals to play an active role in supporting this work and, as an advocate of change, lead and support the development and delivery of the Adult Social Care Transformation Programme (Mental Health).

This role will support the coordination and delivery of this wide-ranging transformation programme across Adult Social Care and Community Mental Health.

The outcomes will change how services and support are provided and will make a tangible difference to people's lives in Greater Manchester.
