Hours 16.25 Mon to Fri - Term time


Key Responsibilities

  • To assist with setting out of food for service in accordance with the menus
  • To prepare the kitchen equipment for service
  • To prepare food for service in accordance with the menus
  • To set up the dining room and arrange the dining room furniture
  • To serve the meals
  • To clear and clean the dining room
  • To wash up and clean all the light and heavy equipment
  • To clean fixtures and fittings including the kitchen floor and dining hall
  • To comply with legislation relating to H&S and hygiene
  • To report any problems/defects with equipment to the Line Manager
  • To maintain a high standard of customer care
  • To make recommendations for improving the service

Skills and Knowledge

Essential
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate to be completed within three months of commencement.

Good Communication skills


Desirable
Basic Health & Safety Certificate

City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 /NVQ Level 3 or similar in catering


PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS TERM TIME ONLY AND THE SALARY WILL BE ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY
