Housing Accommodation Assistant


LOCATION:
Horncastle / Boston


SALARY:
£23,500 - £24,702 per annum


A great opportunity has become available to support Boston Borough and East Lindsey District Councils Housing team to make a difference.


You would be assisting the Housing Accommodation Manager to find accommodation for households who are homeless or threatened with homelessness as well as households who are ready to move on from temporary and supported accommodation.

Proving sufficient suitable accommodation will often be a challenge and you will assist the Housing Accommodation Manager to overcome such challenges

The post would initially be fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of the post being extended further.


Typical duties:


  • Maintain a database of households who need accommodation and match them to the accommodation that you have found taking account of their circumstances and the Councils requirements.
  • Provide administrative support and from time to time and assist with the management of Councils temporary accommodation.


This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1_st_ October 2021.
