We are looking for an intelligent, proactive, and dynamic Head of Sponsorship Sales to join the sponsorship sales team of one of London's clean energy conference businesses

This role is for an ambitious sales professional to grow sponsorship sales revenue stream. This individual will combine a genuine interest in clean energy and future technologies.

Operating with an MO of transparency, integrity and building trust with allstakeholders is absolutely essential to success in this role.


Key Requirements:

  • Team Management driving the hiring, firing, training and coaching of the sponsorship sales team to ensure retention of the best talent, consistency in individual and team performance, and delivery of the financial target
  • Scripting creating a structured sponsorship sales script following the AIDA call model, and engaging the SPIN consultative sales technique
  • Lead Generation upselling existing sponsor relationships and identifying new prospects through research and referrals to expand the sales pipeline
  • Pitching carrying out 50+ dials per day to conduct 5+ progressive conversations, resulting in 1 sponsorship deal per campaign week
  • Closing maintaining touchpoint momentum through a mix of communication methods to enable the most efficient route from initial pitch to deal close
  • Reporting inputting activity and result data into the weekly sales and marketing report to keep the wider team informed of sponsorship sales progress

Key Skills:

  • 2:1 Degree or higher in Environmental, Business, Economics, Marketing, Humanities
  • 810 years sales experience in high complex sales environment within events, advertising, recruitment
  • Coachable and able to take direction and implement change to expand skillset
  • Genuine interest in the Clean Energy sector, b2b buyer psychology, and consultative sales techniques
  • Collaborative team work and stakeholder engagement style
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Commercially driven with excellent deadline management and target/goal orientation
  • Comfortable using CRM and other productivity tools
